What is Hospice?

Hospice is a special concept of care designed to provide comfort and support to patients and their families.

These services are provided when individuals of any age are facing:

  • A life threatening illness
  • Or their illness no longer responds to cure-oriented treatments.

We embrace each of our patients and their families in their individual circumstances and provide emotional, social and spiritual services unique to their situation.

Most hospice care is provided in the patient’s home where trained personnel offer specialized knowledge of medical care and pain management.

Treasure Valley Hospice is committed to improving the quality of the patient's last days by bringing comfort, dignity, and professional care to patients in their own homes.

Our team includes qualified physicians, nurses, certified nursing assistants, Social Workers and Chaplains.
